Booking & Payment
Custom invitation suite projects begin once a signed agreement and a non-refundable $400 design retainer are received. This retainer covers design time and concept development, and is applied toward the total order balance. The remaining balance is due prior to print production or shipment, as specified in your invoice. Orders under $500 may require full payment upfront.
Design Process & Revisions
The design process includes 1–3 initial concepts based on the client’s intake form and inspiration, along with 2–3 rounds of revisions to the selected concept. Additional revisions, alternate concepts, or design changes beyond the included rounds will be billed at $50–$100/hr or quoted separately.
Proofing & Approval
Digital proofs will be provided for client review. The client is responsible for carefully reviewing all details (names, dates, times, addresses, colors, wording). Final approval authorizes production. Once a design is approved and sent to print, no changes can be made and Nova Haus is not responsible for errors or reprint costs.
Timeline & Production
Custom suites require 6–12 weeks from design kickoff to delivery, depending on complexity, specialty finishes, and vendor availability. Handmade papers, foil, letterpress, embossing, and other specialty processes may extend the timeline. Rush orders may be available for an additional rush fee of 25–40%.
Cancellations & Refunds
The $400 design retainer is non-refundable under any circumstances. If a project is canceled after design work begins, all completed design work and any additional labor will be invoiced and due immediately. Once files are approved and sent to print, cancellations and refunds are not permitted.
Printing & Color Variance
Color variations may occur between digital proofs, samples, and final printed items due to differences in monitors, inks, and paper stocks. Handmade paper and specialty processes may include natural variations in texture, color, or thickness. These differences are not considered defects. Nova Haus is not liable for variations, delays, or errors caused by third-party printers or vendors.
Shipping
All orders are carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Nova Haus is not responsible for shipping delays, damages, or losses once items are with the carrier. Expedited shipping may be requested for an additional fee. Local pickup may be available upon request.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate and complete event information and respond to design proofs in a timely manner. Delays in client feedback or information may extend the project timeline.
Portfolio & Credit
Nova Haus retains the right to photograph, share, and display completed custom suites in portfolios, marketing, and social media. Personal details may be altered for privacy when showcasing designs.
Intellectual Property
All custom designs remain the intellectual property of Nova Haus. Clients receive the right to use the printed items for personal event use only. Original design files, source artwork, and digital templates are not released unless explicitly licensed and purchased.
Non-Payment
Orders will not proceed to print until the remaining balance is paid in full. Late payments may incur a 5–10% monthly late fee. Final delivery may be withheld until payment is complete.
