A soft, inviting palette of white oak, greige cabinetry, and a mix of polished nickel and brass finishes created a rich, layered look. Paneled appliances offered a cohesive appearance, while custom features—hidden drawers, a tower to conceal larger appliances, and a pot filler—brought added function. Undercabinet glass lighting softly illuminated her cherished china, adding both beauty and intention.
The adjacent fireplace was transformed to feel balanced and harmonious, with the addition of sconces, a mirror, and a contrasting hearth. A fresh coat of paint helped integrate the brick feature into the overall design. The result is a space that feels tailored, elevated, and truly lived in.

The existing layout already worked wonderfully for the client, so we focused on infusing new life into the space with carefully curated updates. By selecting light, airy cabinetry and pairing it with a bold, contrasting island, we achieved a beautiful balance of elegance and vibrancy. The soft, subtle tile backsplash harmonizes with the island’s blue tones, adding just the right touch of texture and charm to the space.
The transformation now radiates the client’s refined taste —sophisticated, purposeful, and full of character. The space feels both refreshed and timeless, with every detail thoughtfully selected to elevate the overall ambiance. The wet bar needed a thoughtful refresh, and since it’s a standalone space, we aimed to create a distinct atmosphere that felt unique and separate from the rest of the home. Small spaces are the perfect canvas for showcasing creativity and stepping outside the comfort zone. Rooms like pantries, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and mudrooms offer an opportunity to infuse character and life into design—after all, these aren’t spaces where we spend hours, but they’re ones we visit frequently. We opted for a moody vibe, choosing a cabinet color that added depth and complemented the subdued ambiance, creating just the right balance for this special space.
In Phase 2, we’ll introduce a refined neutral floral wallpaper with delicate iridescent accents, beautifully complementing the countertop hues and reflecting in the hardware and wine glasses. The light fixture will serve as the final touch, gracefully unifying the space with warmth and sophistication.
